So, fussy may have been a harsh word, but I wanted catchy alliteration, plus I fell under the pressure of picking my url – shoot me.

Anyways, I am a fussy foodie. Not in the sense that I am a snob or a tough critic. I am simply fussy because for the most part, I struggle with trying new things (especially sea food). I like what I like, and I hate what I haven’t tried. This, of course, usually changes once I let my gumption drive me and take a bite of something foreign that is promised to deliver yummy goodness.

My inspiration for this blog derives from course this January titled, “Eat Your Words.” I was instantly intrigued by this title and once I read the description, I knew it was perfect for me! Journalism has always been a passion of mine and food, well, I’m definitely passionate about food. My love for food has become stronger over the past 5 years. Cooking, especially, has become a more natural habit that I have gotten quite good at actually.

In this blog, I will uncover some of my favorite spots to grab a bite as well as explore my writing skills by attempting to become more familiar with food journalism.
